Course Description
Since 2011, many federal agencies have begun requiring a data management plan with all new grant proposals. This workshop, geared towards researchers (faculty and students) at all levels, will provide an overview of the questions to consider when creating a data management plan, with a focus on data preservation issues and tools for sharing your data. Sample data management plans will be shared from many of the major funding agencies, and some best practices and tips will be shared. This workshop will provide relevant resources and provide a place for discussion around particular needs and questions of the attendees.
