Course Description
This workshop will teach the basics of the Linux terminal and commands as well as basic programming with Python. Participants will begin creating a simple Python program to allow users to convert from one unit of measurement to another. This will teach the basics of working with different data types as well as user input from the keyboard and output to the screen. This workshop is intended for those with little or no background in programming and will teach the absolute basics for getting started.
