Intro to Raspberry Pi
2:15pm - 5:00pm on October 24 in Library 152
Course Description
Raspberry Pi is a tiny, single-board computer originally designed for the home-built robotics market. In this hands-on instructor led workshop participants will create a ""yes-no-maybe"" question answering device, similar to a Magic 8 Ball, using LEDs, buttons, the Raspberry Pi and other electronics components. This workshop will involve using the Linux OS and programming with the Python language and basic electronics and circuits. It is strongly recommended that participants who are not familiar with the Python language attend the ""Python for Pi"" workshop to get an introduction to Linux and programming.
