Outlook: Ready to Go or Ready to Learn? You Decide:

Ready to Learn (product demo) - Sign up for a 1-hour session that will cover the basics of accessing the new email system.

What is Exchange?
Exchange is the email server where all of your information is kept. This information includes; email, calendar, local contacts, and tasks. There are two ways to access your information on the Exchange server.
1 - Microsoft Outlook 2003
2 - Outlook Web Access (OWA)

Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 -- Outlook is the desktop client that communicates with the Exchange server so you can access your email, calendar, and contacts. This product is installed on your desktop and can be set up to work with the Exchange server. Outlook has a full feature set comparible to other email clients such as Eudora, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes, and Pegasus.

Outlook Web Access (OWA) -- You can access your information on the Exchange server from anywhere you have an Internet connection. For the best use of OWA, use Internet Explorer as it is most compatible with the Exchange environment. The website is: http://exchange.kent.edu.
Log in using your Flashline email address and password. OWA is a browser version email and therefore does not have the full feature set of an email program. OWA is similar to using a much better version of Flashmail.
